Privacy Policy
Last updated July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how UGN Rave Radio ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by UGN Rave Radio , collects, uses, and shares information when you use the website at ugnraveradio.com and our related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. Please also read our Terms and Conditions.
1. Information you provide to us
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google in place of a password.
- Comments. If you post a comment, we collect the display name you provide and the content of the comment. Approved comments are shown publicly along with your display name.
- Contact messages. If you contact us through the Service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the subject and content of your message.
- Contest entries. If you enter a contest or promotion, we collect the information requested in that contest's entry form.
2. Information we collect automatically
- Device and log data. When you visit the Service, we automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring pages, and the dates and times of your requests.
- Listening and viewing activity. If you are signed in, we record your progress through videos and podcast episodes so you can resume where you left off.
- Radio listening sessions. When you listen to our radio stream, we log session data — including your user agent, connection and disconnection times, and a one-way hashed (anonymized) version of your IP address — together with the tracks played. We use this to measure aggregate listening hours and to meet music-licensing and royalty-reporting obligations (for example, reporting to performance-rights organizations such as SoundExchange). We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies that are essential to the Service:
- Authentication cookie — keeps you signed in to your account.
- Preference cookie — remembers settings such as your day/night theme.
We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded players and links from third parties (such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube) may set their own cookies when you interact with them; those are governed by the third parties' own policies. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. How we use your information
- to provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- to display and moderate comments and other user content;
- to respond to your messages and support requests;
- to administer contests and promotions;
- to measure listening activity and comply with music-licensing and royalty-reporting obligations;
- to protect the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse;
- to understand how the Service is used and improve it; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us run the Service — for example, cloud hosting and media delivery (Amazon Web Services), our radio-streaming infrastructure, sign-in providers (Google), and email delivery — who may process information only on our behalf.
- Royalty and rights organizations. Aggregated and anonymized listening data (such as tracks played and total listening hours) shared with performance-rights and royalty organizations as required for music licensing.
- Advertisers. Aggregated, non-identifying information about Service usage. We do not share your name or email with advertisers.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of UGN Rave Radio, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Third-party services and embedded content
The Service integrates third-party services, including Google sign-in and embedded players from services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. When you use these features, the relevant third party may collect information directly from you under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including royalty-reporting records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account, after which we will delete or anonymize your personal information except where retention is legally required.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashing account passwords and listener IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@underground-nights.com. You can also:
- update or delete your account information from your account settings;
- ask us to remove a comment you posted; and
- control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
We operate the Service from United States, and your information may be processed and stored there or in other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
13. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, email us at info@underground-nights.com or use our contact page.
